This class focuses on movement and postures that strengthen and increase flexibility and mobility in the hip joint. Other areas of the body influencing the integrity of the hip joint will also be stretched, strengthened and moved including: the low back (lumbar spine and sacral region), groin and inner thighs as well as the hip flexors (iliopsoas muscles). Various approaches including vinyasa, mobility movements and classical Hatha postures will be utilized to bring the hips to life!
If attending in person, this class will be in a hot room, heated to 95C.
